{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-99.805","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 99.805","heading":"Appointment of conservator -- Bond -- Removal.","body":"(1) If the court finds after a hearing that the conditions for conservatorship have been\nestablished, the court may:\n(a) Appoint a conservator; and\n(b) Grant such other relief as may be just and appropriate.\n(2) In appointing a conservator, the court shall co nsider any recommendation contained\nin the petition or otherwise presented by a party in interest.\n(3) No member of the governing body of a local government or a public officer of a\nlocal government in his or her individual capacity, or a member of the imm ediate\nfamily of a member of the governing body or public officer of a local government,\nis qualified to be appointed as a conservator in the action.\n(4) A conservator appointed by the court may be required to post a bond in an amount\ndetermined by the court, but not exceeding the assessed value of the building at the\ntime of the appointment, prior to proceeding as conservator.\n(5) A conservator may be removed by the court at any time upon the request of the\nconservator, or upon a showing by a party in inte rest that the conservator is not\ncarrying out duties or responsibilities under the appointment.
