The following fees apply to filings and searches made under this Chapter, other than filings with the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of motor vehicles subject to Subsection (b):\nSCHEDULE OF FEES\nTo Be\nTo Be\nRetained by\nRemitted to\nThe Filing\nThe Secretary\nOfficer\nof State\n(1) A $25 fee for an initial filing,\nan amendment a continuation, an\nassignment, or a debtor correction\n$15\n$10\n(2) A $5 fee for each additional name\n$ 3\n$ 2\n(3) A $5 additional fee for an initial\nfiling disclosing an assignment\n$ 3\n$ 2\n(4) A $15 nonstandard form penalty\n$15\n$-0-\n(plus $5 per page for each page in excess\nof 10 pages)\n$ 5\n$-0-\n(5) A $35 initial filing fee for as\nextracted collateral or fixture filings\n$25\n$10\n(6) A $200 initial filing fee for\ntransmitting utility filings\n$183\n$17\n(7) A $35 initial filing fee for crops\nand farm products\n$30\n$ 5\n(8) A $5 fee per affected financing\nstatement for a master amendment or a\nmaster assignment\n$ 3\n$ 2\n(9) A $5 fee for a termination\n(payable in advance)\n$ 5\n$-0-\n(10) A $5 fee for each additional\nname on a termination\n$ 5\n$-0-\n(11) A $30 certificate fee (plus $1\nfor each listing more than ten)\n$20\n$10\n(12) A $100 initial filing fee for\npublic finance transactions\n$75\n$25\n(13) With respect to master assignments and master amendments subject to R.S. 10:9-514.1, a $5.00 fee for each of the financing statements to be assigned or amended.\n(b) Fees charged by Department of Public Safety and Corrections. The following fees apply to filings made with the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of motor vehicles:\n(1) A $15 fee for initial filing.\n(2) A $15 fee for an amendment.\n(c) Remittance to secretary of state. On or before the tenth day of each month, the filing office in R.S. 10:9-502(a)(2) shall remit to the secretary of state that portion of the aforementioned fee allocable to the secretary of state which was received by the filing office during the preceding month.\n(d) Method of payment. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the secretary of state and all filing officers are hereby authorized to establish any method of payment for such fees, including but not limited to payment by charge account or credit card.","path":["TITLE 10.
