No member of this organization shall ever be compelled by this organization to retire from active service in the various Electrical Departments because of age, length of service, physical disability or infirmity; the acceptance of said pension benefits shall always be optional with the member.\nB. Any member of this organization shall be reimbursed, without any interest, the total amount of wage deduction during the period that he has been a member of the Pension Fund, upon the severance of his employment with the City of Monroe, Louisiana, either voluntarily or involuntarily.\nDesignated from Acts 1956, No. 283, §18 by Acts 1991, No. 74, §3, eff.
