The board of directors shall have the right to call a special meeting at any time, and ten per cent of the members, by petition setting forth the specific business to be brought before the association, may demand a special meeting at any time. Such meeting thereupon shall be called by the directors. Notice of each meeting, together with a statement of the purpose thereof, shall be mailed to each member at least five days prior to the meeting; provided, however, that the bylaws may require, instead, that such notice may be given by publication in a newspaper of general circulation, published at the location of the registered office of the association.","path":["TITLE 12.
