It is the policy of this state that all qualified citizens have an obligation to serve on petit juries when summoned by the courts of this state, unless excused.\nB. The qualifications of a juror in any civil case are as required by Code of Criminal Procedure Article 401, except that the prohibition against persons convicted of a crime of violence or a sex offense shall not apply to civil jurors.\nC.
