{"data":{"id":"us-la/rs-17-407.49","jurisdiction":"us-la","citation":"RS 17:407.49","heading":"Parent-child relationship","body":"The State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education and the department shall not interfere with the parent-child relationship regarding the religious training of a child, if both of the following conditions are met:\n(1) The parent or legal custodian has enrolled his child in a child care facility, including but not limited to a child residential facility, operated by a religious, nonprofit organization that is exempt from federal income taxes pursuant to 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(3).\n(2) As a condition of enrollment, the child is required to attend religious services or classes and the parent or legal custodian of the child agrees to such condition.","path":["3046.5 Terminated July 9, 1998.
