However, a school board may provide that one or more of its members may be elected at large as provided in R.S. 17:71.3(B). Any reapportionment shall be based upon the latest federal decennial census, or a special census as authorized by R.S. 17:71.3(A), and shall be accomplished and become effective when a school board has complied with the provisions of R.S. 17:71.4.","path":["3046.5 Terminated July 9, 1998.
