{"data":{"id":"us-la/rs-26-96","jurisdiction":"us-la","citation":"RS 26:96","heading":"Revocation and suspensions not exclusive penalty","body":"A.(1) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Chapter to the contrary, the commissioner may, in lieu of or in addition to revocation or suspension of a permit issued under the authority of this Chapter, impose the following schedule of fines to be paid into the state treasury for:\n(a) A first offense, not less than fifty dollars but not more than five hundred dollars.\n(b) A second offense that occurs within three years of the first offense, not less than two hundred fifty dollars but not more than one thousand dollars.\n(c) A third offense that occurs within three years of the first offense, not less than five hundred dollars but not more than two thousand five hundred dollars.\n(2) A retail dealer who is required pursuant to R.S. 15:541.1 to post information regarding the National Human Trafficking Center hotline and fails to post such information may be assessed a fine in accordance with the provisions of this Section.\nB. Any fine imposed upon any permittee or the revocation or suspension of a permit is in addition to and is not in lieu of or a limitation upon any other penalty imposed by law and not contained in this Chapter.","path":["343.
