{"data":{"id":"us-la/rs-3-143","jurisdiction":"us-la","citation":"RS 3:143","heading":"Associations heretofore organized may adopt these provisions","body":"Any corporation or association organized under previously existing statutes may by a majority vote of its directors or members, be brought under the provisions of this Part. It shall make out in duplicate a statement signed and sworn to by a majority of its directors, to the effect that the corporation or association has by a majority vote of its directors decided to accept the benefits and be bound by the provisions of this Part. Articles of association shall be filed as required in R.S. 3:127 except that they shall be signed by a majority of the members of the board of directors. The filing fee shall be the same as for filing an amendment to articles of association.","path":["TITLE 3.
