{"data":{"id":"us-la/rs-3-731","jurisdiction":"us-la","citation":"RS 3:731","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this Part, the following words shall have the following meanings ascribed to them:\n(1) \"Brand\" means an identification mark hot or cold branded into or onto the hide of a live animal.\n(2) \"Commission\" means the Livestock Brand Commission.\n(3) \"Commissioner\" means the commissioner of agriculture.\n(4) \"Director\" means the director of the commission.\n(5) \"Mark\" means a distinct marking or device placed on or in a live animal sufficient to distinguish the animal readily if it becomes intermixed with other animals, including a tattoo or an electronic device.\n(6) \"Person\" means an individual, firm, partnership, corporation, or other association.","path":["TITLE 3.
