Under such circumstances, the vice-president may convene the police jury in the same manner and for the reasons that the president could himself do. If the police jury has not elected a vice-president under R.S. 33:1226, the clerk of the district court of the parish may convene the police jury whenever there is a vacancy in the office of president, in the same manner and for the reasons that the president could himself do.","path":["TITLE 33.
