The primary purpose of the board shall be to promote, encourage, and participate in economic development activities for wards 4 and 6 of Beauregard Parish. These activities include but shall not be limited to endeavors that will accomplish or enhance the opportunity for any of the following:\n(1) Growth, development, and prosperity of the Wards 4 and 6 area.\n(2) Development of existing commercial structures.\n(3) Development of underutilized resources.\n(4) Development of the tax base.\n(5) Coordination of public and private programs.","path":["TITLE 33.
