Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, a public rural hospital may employ a health care provider on a part-time basis. As used in this Subsection, \"part-time basis\" means twenty or fewer hours of work per calendar week.\nB. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, a public rural hospital may lease, at fair market value, a portion or all of a facility or equipment to a health care provider employed by the hospital on a part-time basis for the provision of health care services and a health care provider employed on a part-time basis by a public rural hospital may lease, at fair market value, a portion or all of a facility or equipment to the hospital for the provision of health care services.","path":["TITLE 40.
