{"data":{"id":"us-la/rs-40-1205.2","jurisdiction":"us-la","citation":"RS 40:1205.2","heading":"Definitions","body":"For the purpose of this Part, the following terms shall have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:\n(1) \"Department\" means the Louisiana Department of Health.\n(2) \"Health professional shortage areas\" means areas so classified by the United States Public Health Services as areas with a shortage of health professionals.\n(3) \"Primary health care practitioner\" means a medical practitioner who provides a basic level of health care, including but not limited to a general practitioner, internist, obstetrician, gynecologist, and pediatrician, as well as a nonphysician provider such as a nurse and advanced nursing specialist.\n(4) \"Secretary\" means the secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health.","path":["TITLE 40.
