{"data":{"id":"us-la/rs-41-761","jurisdiction":"us-la","citation":"RS 41:761","heading":"Sale of swamp or sea marsh lands","body":"Whenever a sixteenth section donated to the state by Congress for school purposes is located in a township not habitable by reason of the township being swamp or sea marsh, the school board may, upon the petition of the land owners owning in area more than one-half of the land in the township, order the sale of the sixteenth section by resolution or motion passed by a majority of the members of the board present and voting.","path":["TITLE 41.
