At the first meeting of a corporation organized under general law or created by special act, or at any adjournment thereof, the incorporators shall organize by the choice, by ballot, of a temporary clerk, who shall be sworn, by the adoption of by-laws and by the election by ballot of directors, of a treasurer, of a clerk and of such other officers as the by-laws required to be elected by the stockholders.
