The proprietors of an aqueduct corporation, which has been organized under chapter one hundred and ten of the Public Statutes or corresponding provisions of earlier laws, may at a legal meeting agree upon the method of calling future meetings of the corporation, and may choose a clerk, who shall be sworn and who shall record in books to be provided and kept by him for that purpose all by-laws, votes and other proceedings of the corporation.
