There shall be established and set up on the books of the commonwealth a Sports Wagering Fund which shall receive revenues collected pursuant to sections 6 and 14. The fund shall not be subject to appropriation. The commission shall be the trustee of the fund and shall transfer monies from the fund as follows:\n(1) 45 per cent to the General Fund;\n(2) 17.5 per cent to the Workforce Investment Trust Fund established in section 18;\n(3) 27.5 per cent to the Gaming Local Aid Fund established in section 63 of section 23K;\n(4) 1 per cent to the Youth Development and Achievement Fund established in section 19; and\n(5) 9 per cent to the Public Health Trust Fund established in section 58 of section 23K.","path":["Part I","Title II","Chapter 23N"],"source_url":"https://malegislature.gov/Laws/GeneralLaws/PartI/TitleII/Chapter23N/Section17","current_through":"amendments passed before May 31, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T05:20:09Z","sha256":"6f1ab81db1e0d605b68d5c488bee36f7300d859486a06029699bb1508560b57a","source_id":"us-ma","stale":false,"prev":"us-ma/mass.-gen.-laws-ch.-23n-16","next":"us-ma/mass.-gen.-laws-ch.-23n-18"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
