During each fiscal year, the department of environmental management shall prepare a report on the overall effectiveness of the dam inspection and regulation program under sections 44 to 48, inclusive, including, but not limited to, the number of inspections conducted per year, a listing of identified deficient dams in the commonwealth and steps taken to remedy deficiencies.
