Whoever uses criminal offender record information to commit a crime against the subject of the criminal offender record information or to engage in harassment of the subject, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $5,000 or by imprisonment in a jail or house of correction for not more than 1 year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
