Code, Agriculture § 2–2202","heading":"","body":"(a) The State Specialist for Value–Added Agriculture shall:\n(1) Serve as the primary point of contact for individuals engaging in, or interested in engaging in, value–added agriculture in the State;\n(2) Provide information regarding State and federal regulations relating to value–added agriculture;\n(3) Act as a liaison between State and federal partners involved in value–added agriculture; and\n(4) Perform any other duty or function that supports value–added agriculture in the State, as required by the Secretary.\n(b) The State Specialist for Value–Added Agriculture shall receive a salary as provided in the State budget.","path":["Article - Agriculture"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gag\u0026section=2-2202","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:55:53Z","sha256":"3ffdaf27a2fb25e0aa3be59c3cc2f581ecd96ca0e0892632b3f5c61d027ce590","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-agriculture-2-2201","next":"us-md/md.-code-agriculture-2-2301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
