Code, Agriculture § 4–112","heading":"","body":"(a) Every livestock carcass, part of it, or meat food product inspected at an official establishment and found to be not adulterated shall be labeled to comply with the requirements of § 4–101(p) of this subtitle and the departmental rules and regulations in distinctly legible form directly on the article or its container when it leaves the establishment.\n(b) The Secretary may prescribe: (1) the styles and sizes of type to be used in marking and labeling any article subject to this subtitle; and (2) the definitions and standards of identity or composition and fill of container for any article subject to this subtitle.","path":["Article - Agriculture"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gag\u0026section=4-112","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:55:53Z","sha256":"57273da7f49db33f35a997bbafddf506c9cf2b7fada03c93daf781dd5c3fc975","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-agriculture-4-111","next":"us-md/md.-code-agriculture-4-113"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
