Code, Agriculture § 5–405.1","heading":"","body":"(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, at least 24 hours before the State, a county, or a bicounty agency sprays a pesticide to control mosquitos within a municipality, the State, county, or bicounty agency shall provide to the municipality notification of:\n(1) The location of the spraying; and\n(2) The planned date and time of the spraying.\n(b) If the State, a county, or a bicounty agency determines that spraying a pesticide is necessary to control the outbreak of a virus, contagion, or similar public health threat, the State, county, or bicounty agency shall provide the notification required under subsection (a) of this section to the municipality as soon as practicable.","path":["Article - Agriculture"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gag\u0026section=5-405.1","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:55:53Z","sha256":"c889b4064b4fafc0a4623a0a841083a857fc6b07285fa014b22e8ec92f248e4f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-agriculture-5-405","next":"us-md/md.-code-agriculture-5-406"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
