Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 11–2704","heading":"","body":"(a) In this section, “premises” includes a building, parking lot, picnic grounds, terrace, or grounds that form an integral part of the licensed premises.\n(b) Except as provided in subsection (c) of this section:\n(1) an individual may not consume, display, or possess on the licensed premises an alcoholic beverage not purchased from the license holder; and\n(2) a license holder may not allow an individual to consume, display, or possess on the licensed premises an alcoholic beverage that is not purchased from the license holder.\n(c) A holder of a beach and amusement park license may grant written permission to a patron of the license holder’s beach or park to bring and consume on the licensed premises an alcoholic beverage not purchased from the license holder.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=11-2704","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"f1b5b0ab82e2f2f531b4ac040a015dd9c8487ac957ed5cfe134a0fe39feba001","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-11-2703","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-11-2801"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
