Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 12–1003","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a racetrack license.\n(b) (1) The Board may issue the license to the owner of a regularly licensed racing establishment or the concessionaire or catering organization at the establishment.\n(2) There are no residential or voting qualifications for a license applicant.\n(c) The license authorizes the holder to sell beer, wine, and liquor at one or more locations in the confines of the racing park.\n(d) (1) The license fee is $100 for each day that the racing park is open and operating.\n(2) In addition to the annual license fee, the license holder shall pay annually:\n(i) $500, if the license holder provides live entertainment; or\n(ii) $200, if the license holder provides outdoor table or cafe service.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=12-1003","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"2c313bf25005e02472ae2dc852e29f00e5d2fe3e765ea4841e6d896b60ac6fb2","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-1002.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-1004"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
