Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 12–1103","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a special amusement permit.\n(b) The Board may grant the permit to a holder of a Class D beer, wine, and liquor license who regularly specializes in the entertainment of customers by providing approved types of amusement, such as:\n(1) singing;\n(2) dancing;\n(3) music that is other than recorded music or radio programs;\n(4) floor shows;\n(5) acrobatic acts;\n(6) theatricals; and\n(7) movies.\n(c) The permit holder may sell beer, wine, and liquor at the hours that the Board specifies.\n(d) The Board may not issue a Class B beer, wine, and liquor license for an establishment that provides entertainment under subsection (b) of this section unless the Board finds that the establishment is a restaurant.\n(e) In addition to the annual fee for a Class D beer, wine, and liquor license, the annual permit fee is $750.\n(f) The Board shall adopt regulations for issuing the permit to carry out this section.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=12-1103","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"d7bba8f73cf75a586e3f073924fcf2bada69fa623a4a2475434759a2eec5ec38","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-1102.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-1104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
