Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 12–1304","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) There is a beer festival license.\n(2) The Board may designate not more than two times each calendar year for which a beer festival license may be issued.\n(b) (1) The Board may issue the license to a holder of a Class 5 brewery license, Class 6 pub–brewery license, Class 7 micro–brewery license, or Class 8 farm brewery license.\n(2) Each manufacturer that participates in the beer festival shall obtain a beer festival license.\n(c) (1) If the beer festival is held on a Class B licensed premises, the products displayed and sold shall be:\n(i) owned, produced, and provided by the beer festival license holder; or\n(ii) provided by the holder of the Class B license.\n(2) If the beer festival is held on a location that is not already licensed, the products displayed and sold shall be:\n(i) owned, produced, and provided by the beer festival license holder; or\n(ii) directly obtained from a licensed wholesaler.\n(d) Each festival shall be held:\n(1) on premises for which a Class B license has been issued; or\n(2) at a location that is not already licensed.\n(e) The license holder shall display and sell beer:\n(1) at retail for on–premises consumption; and\n(2) during the hours and days designated for the festival.\n(f) The license for each festival may be in effect for a period of not more than 3 days.\n(g) The license holder may hold another license of a different class or nature.\n(h) The Board shall set the license fee.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=12-1304","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"eb7d603976665c1c1e38ca839962fd7ccc6fcb54e5e48815030b17b00525a179","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-1301","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-1305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
