Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 12–1305","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) There is a Baltimore Wine Festival (WF) license.\n(2) The Board may issue not more than four licenses each year.\n(b) The Board may issue the license to a holder of a retail license, Class 3 winery license, or Class 4 winery license.\n(c) The license authorizes the holder to display and sell wine.\n(d) The license holder shall display and sell wine:\n(1) at retail for on– and off–premises consumption; and\n(2) during the hours and days designated for a wine festival.\n(e) The Board:\n(1) may select four 4–day periods annually for the wine festival;\n(2) except as provided in item (3) of this subsection, shall choose a location for a festival for which a license has not been issued; and\n(3) may not issue a license for use in election district 46, except for the 1st precinct of the 22nd ward.\n(f) The license holder may hold another alcoholic beverages license of a different class or nature.\n(g) The Board shall set the license fee.\n(h) The Board shall adopt regulations to carry out this section.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=12-1305","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"bd66a116cc0703f1f4daf172401ec9bfe8b70023bf41b765744c8f9b4fb6a2cd","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-1304","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-1306"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
