Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 12–1405","heading":"","body":"The application shall include a petition signed by at least three residents who are owners of real property and registered voters in the City stating that:\n(1) the applicant:\n(i) is personally known to the signers of the petition; and\n(ii) is a resident or taxpayer of the City at the time the applicant presents the application to the signers of the petition;\n(2) if the applicant is a corporation, at least one of the applicants:\n(i) is personally known to the signers of the petition;\n(ii) is a resident or taxpayer of the City at the time the applicant presents the application to the signers of the petition; and\n(iii) is a registered voter in the State; and\n(3) if the applicant is a partnership, all members of the partnership are residents of the City at the time the applicants present the application to the signers of the petition.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=12-1405","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"6ea4598a32ecde3ebcf6e92bdfa38577ae4c1caa9615ef82558c89fed9aabc02","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-1404","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-1406"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
