Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 12–1801","heading":"","body":"(a) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 4 (“Renewal of Local Licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the City without exception or variation:\n(1) § 4–402 (“Eligibility for renewal; process”);\n(2) § 4–403 (“Renewal application”);\n(3) § 4–407 (“Denial of renewal application”);\n(4) § 4–408 (“Issuance of renewed licenses”);\n(5) § 4–409 (“Multiple licenses”); and\n(6) § 4–410 (“Chain store, supermarket, or discount house”).\n(b) Section 4–404 (“Filing period for renewal application”) of Division I of this article does not apply in the City and is superseded by § 12–1802 of this subtitle.\n(c) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 4 (“Renewal of local licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the City:\n(1) § 4–405 (“Contents of renewal application”), subject to §§ 12–1803 and 12–1804 of this subtitle; and\n(2) § 4–406 (“Protests”), subject to § 12–1805 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=12-1801","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"03beff54ef45e87b14e3c1a0b14f0828021f9b68ab12d7f7f3e88b9d89a4c87b","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-1710","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-1802"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
