Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 12–2604","heading":"","body":"(a) The Board may subpoena records pertaining to a licensed establishment.\n(b) (1) The Board may petition the circuit court if a witness refuses to produce a subpoenaed record.\n(2) The court may proceed by attachment against the witness as if the refusal had been by a witness summoned to appear in a case pending before the court.\n(c) (1) The Board may charge fees for the production and service of a summons and hearing notice.\n(2) The fees are:\n(i) $25, for the production of hearing notices or summonses requested by parties appearing before the Board;\n(ii) $5, for each address served if the address is provided to the Board and the service is by mail; and\n(iii) $25, for each address served if the service is performed by an employee of the Board.\n(3) In addition to any other fine, penalty, or cost, the Board may impose a $100 administrative hearing fee on a license holder:\n(i) whom the Board charges with a violation of law concerning the sale of alcoholic beverages; or\n(ii) who requests a transfer or expansion of the license or a new license.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=12-2604","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"5670ab6ec3ce480946e9851ae4b8e300442200c6a053bda0fa0a812ea0450baf","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-2603","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-12-2605"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
