Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 13–1201","heading":"","body":"(a) There is an off–sale caterer privilege.\n(b) (1) The Board may grant the privilege to a holder of a Class B or Class D on–sale beer, wine, and liquor license.\n(2) The privilege is not a separate class of license but is incorporated in the holder’s Class B or Class D license.\n(c) The holder of the privilege shall:\n(1) contract with a sponsor of a public or private catered event held off the premises of the holder to provide food and sell beer, wine, and liquor for consumption at the event; and\n(2) exercise the privilege only during the hours and on the days authorized for the holder’s Class B or Class D license.\n(d) The privilege may be renewed.\n(e) The annual fee for the privilege is $500 in addition to the annual fee for the license to which the privilege is incorporated.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=13-1201","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"d70a28c40ebfadc50cb6d38b8ce5de1007eab1416a9f64e261208980f14ff0c1","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-13-1103","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-13-1301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
