Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 13–1306","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a wine sampling (WS) permit.\n(b) The Board may issue the permit to a nonprofit organization.\n(c) (1) The permit authorizes on–premises consumption of wine for sampling:\n(i) on premises for which a Class B license has been issued with the consent of the holder of the license for the premises; or\n(ii) at a location that is not already licensed.\n(2) The permit holder may bring wine onto the Class B licensed premises for sampling.\n(d) The nonprofit organization shall apply for a permit at least 15 days before the permit is issued.\n(e) The Board may issue not more than 12 permits in a license year to a single nonprofit organization.\n(f) A permit holder may serve a quantity of not more than 2 ounces of wine from each offering to an individual.\n(g) The permit fee is $30 per day.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=13-1306","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"8b13d30c75da3131d8f6df96c495949844b9c18821d28a5ebf379af1b2eae31d","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-13-1305","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-13-1307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
