Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 13–2601","heading":"","body":"(a) The following sections of Title 6, Subtitle 2 (“Enforcement”) of Division I of this article apply in the county without exception or variation:\n(1) § 6–202 (“Inspections”);\n(2) § 6–203 (“Use of equipment to measure quantity and quality of alcoholic beverages”);\n(3) § 6–204 (“Power to summon witnesses”);\n(4) § 6–206 (“Charging document for unlawful sale of alcoholic beverage”);\n(5) § 6–207 (“Display of alcoholic beverages as prima facie evidence of sale”);\n(6) § 6–208 (“Regulating possession or consumption of alcohol in public places”);\n(7) § 6–209 (“Adoption of standards for authorization of consumption”); and\n(8) § 6–211 (“Fines and forfeitures”).\n(b) The following sections of Title 6, Subtitle 2 (“Enforcement”) of Division I of this article do not apply in the county:\n(1) § 6–205 (“Peace officers”); and\n(2) § 6–210 (“State preemption of local disorderly intoxication laws”), which is superseded by § 13–2602 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=13-2601","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"c236c988c8e85ed1f1731d18c74b30c2652dd2337af695f71a7dccca80d018e5","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-13-2503","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-13-2602"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
