Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 14–204.1","heading":"","body":"(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, at least 3 months before submitting a legislative proposal to the county delegation for introduction as a bill in a session of the General Assembly, the Board shall:\n(1) post a notice of the proposal on the Board’s website;\n(2) send a notice of the proposal by e–mail to each license holder; and\n(3) hold a public hearing on the proposal.\n(b) Subsection (a) of this section does not apply to a legislative proposal to the county delegation for introduction as an emergency bill in a session of the General Assembly.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=14-204.1","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"41d3a5979da1ecd522dd64780c78ce338d275437041c8a1186f24faf9ebb1263","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-14-204","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-14-205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
