Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 14–2703","heading":"","body":"(a) A license holder or an employee of a license holder who is charged with a violation of § 6–307 of this article:\n(1) shall receive a summons to appear in court on a certain day to answer the charges placed against the license holder or employee; and\n(2) may not be required to post bail pending trial in any court in the State.\n(b) A license holder or an employee of a license holder who violates § 6–307 of this article is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to:\n(1) if the convicted individual is a license holder, a fine not exceeding $200; and\n(2) if the convicted individual is an employee of a license holder, a fine not exceeding $250.\n(c) The Board may not proceed against a license holder for a violation of § 6–307 of this article if the license holder or an employee of the license holder is found not guilty of, or granted probation before judgment for, the violation.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=14-2703","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"75db05812ac3393f411a953247e4c857cf733fb255d8fb403c484e44c1422276","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-14-2702","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-14-2801"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
