Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 15–1501","heading":"","body":"(a) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 2 (“Issuance or Denial of Local Licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the county without exception or variation:\n(1) § 4–202 (“Authority of local licensing boards”);\n(2) § 4–205 (“Chain store, supermarket, or discount house”);\n(3) § 4–206 (“Limitations on retail sales floor space”);\n(4) § 4–207 (“Licenses issued to minors”);\n(5) § 4–208 (“Notice of license application required”);\n(6) § 4–209 (“Hearing”);\n(7) § 4–211 (“License forms; effective date; expiration”);\n(8) § 4–212 (“License not property”); and\n(9) § 4–213 (“Replacement licenses”).\n(b) Section 4–214 (“Waiting periods after denial of license applications”) of Division I of this article does not apply in the county and is superseded by § 15–1504 of this subtitle.\n(c) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 2 (“Issuance or Denial of Local Licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the county:\n(1) § 4–203 (“Prohibition against issuing multiple licenses to individual or for use of entity”), subject to § 15–1502 of this subtitle and Subtitle 13, Part III of this title;\n(2) § 4–204 (“Prohibition against issuing multiple licenses for same premises”), subject to § 15–1502 of this subtitle; and\n(3) § 4–210 (“Approval or denial of license application”), in addition to § 15–1503 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=15-1501","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"bbac654506fa9c9dc9fe3acabb6a8f9742620344bdaad08cb2541d134c4bddb8","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-15-1407","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-15-1502"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
