Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 16–1306","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a beer tasting (BT) license.\n(b) The Board may issue the license to a holder of a beer and wine (BW) license or a beer, wine, and liquor (BWL) license.\n(c) The license authorizes the holder to allow the consumption of beer for tasting if:\n(1) the license holder is authorized to sell the beer; and\n(2) the consumer is not charged for the beer.\n(d) The Board shall regulate:\n(1) the quantity of beer served to each individual;\n(2) the number of bottles or other containers of beer from which this quantity is served; and\n(3) the size of the bottles or other containers.\n(e) In addition to the cost of a BW license or BWL license, the annual license fee is $100.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=16-1306","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"7175fce4de6587f48906c0342c2328580aa35746dee7a76d7fbf413796e19188","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-16-1305","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-16-1307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
