Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 16–1307","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a wine tasting (WT) license.\n(b) The Board may issue the license to a holder of a beer and wine (BW) license or beer, wine, and liquor (BWL) license.\n(c) The license authorizes the holder to allow the consumption of wine for tasting if:\n(1) the license holder is authorized to sell the wine; and\n(2) the consumer is not charged for the wine.\n(d) The Board shall regulate:\n(1) the quantity of wine served to each individual; and\n(2) the number of bottles of wine from which this quantity is served.\n(e) In addition to the cost of a BW license or BWL license, the annual license fee is $100.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=16-1307","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"9bb7ae81d1beae7f26e1e527c4aac8da1d878039555b094537efb0e184158bd1","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-16-1306","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-16-1308"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
