Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 16–401","heading":"","body":"(a) The following sections of Title 2, Subtitle 2 (“Manufacturer’s Licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the county without exception or variation:\n(1) § 2–201 (“Issuance by Comptroller”);\n(2) § 2–202 (“Class 1 distillery license”);\n(3) § 2–203 (“Class 9 limited distillery license”);\n(4) § 2–204 (“Class 2 rectifying license”);\n(5) § 2–205 (“Class 3 winery license”);\n(6) § 2–207 (“Class 5 brewery license”);\n(7) § 2–210 (“Class 8 farm brewery license”);\n(8) § 2–211 (“Residency requirement”);\n(9) § 2–212 (“Additional licenses”);\n(10) § 2–213 (“Additional fees”);\n(11) § 2–214 (“Sale or delivery restricted”);\n(12) § 2–216 (“Interaction between manufacturing entities and retailers”);\n(13) § 2–217 (“Distribution of alcoholic beverages — Prohibited practices”); and\n(14) § 2–218 (“Restrictive agreements between producers and retailers — Prohibited”).\n(b) Section 2–215 (“Beer sale on credit to retail dealer prohibited”) of Division I of this article does not apply in the county.\n(c) The following sections of Title 2, Subtitle 2 (“Manufacturer’s Licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the county:\n(1) § 2–206 (“Class 4 limited winery license”), subject to § 16–403 of this subtitle;\n(2) § 2–208 (“Class 6 pub–brewery license”), subject to § 16–404 of this subtitle; and\n(3) § 2–209 (“Class 7 micro–brewery license”), subject to § 16–405 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=16-401","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"e36b2a7dfb906b06821f52faafee57ff2e3e3d10fd336441338e4d6e0994db44","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-16-301","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-16-402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
