Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 17–1306","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a beer, wine, and liquor tasting license.\n(b) The Board may issue the license to a holder of a Class A or Class B beer, wine, and liquor license.\n(c) (1) The license authorizes the holder to allow on–premises consumption of beer, wine, and liquor for tasting.\n(2) The license may be issued for a maximum of:\n(i) any 26 days in a licensing period;\n(ii) any 52 days in a licensing period; or\n(iii) an entire licensing period.\n(3) If a license holder is issued a license for any 26 days in a licensing period or any 52 days in a licensing period, the license holder shall notify the Board at least 7 days before exercising the privileges of the license.\n(d) An individual may consume beer, wine, or liquor covered by the license in a quantity of not more than:\n(1) 1 ounce from each offering of beer or wine; and\n(2) one–half ounce from each offering of liquor.\n(e) In addition to the cost of a Class A or Class B beer, wine, and liquor license, the license fee is:\n(1) $125 for a 26–day license;\n(2) $200 for a 52–day license; and\n(3) $400 for a 1–year license.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=17-1306","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"304dc3afe7ffa2a583d5daeacd75d3eb494bb5a7bee9569c1549322975c96c27","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-17-1305","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-17-1308"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
