Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 18–2002","heading":"","body":"(a) Reserved.\n(b) Reserved.\n(c) Reserved.\n(d) A holder of a Class D beer license may sell beer:\n(1) on Monday through Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and\n(2) on Sunday, from 6 a.m. to midnight.\n(e) (1) The part of a premises where alcoholic beverages are sold or displayed may be open only during the hours of sale for alcoholic beverages set out in subsection (d) of this section.\n(2) A license holder with an on–sale license shall remove all bottles and containers from the table on or before the closing time set out in subsection (d) of this section.\n(f) A license holder may sell nonalcoholic items:\n(1) on Monday through Saturday, from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and\n(2) on Sunday, from 6 a.m. to midnight.\n(g) A person that violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment or a fine not exceeding $250 or both.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=18-2002","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"800be9bd1e867b81649ba1ff73f66a0be566ff647b00ce41bb037df02f8725ef","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-18-2001","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-18-2003"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
