Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 18–908","heading":"","body":"(a) There are two types of Class D beer, wine, and liquor licenses.\n(b) The licenses authorize the license holder to sell at retail at the place described in the license:\n(1) beer, wine, and liquor for on– and off–premises consumption; or\n(2) beer and wine for on– and off–premises consumption and liquor for off–premises consumption.\n(c) The licenses may not be issued for use by a drugstore.\n(d) (1) The annual license fees are:\n(i) $1,320, for a license to sell beer, wine, and liquor for on– and off–premises consumption; and\n(ii) $1,020, for a license to sell beer and wine for on– and off–premises consumption and liquor for off–premises consumption.\n(2) In addition to the annual license fee, a license holder shall annually pay:\n(i) $200, if the license holder provides live entertainment; and\n(ii) $200, if the license holder provides outdoor table service.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=18-908","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"188201d9c851fa28c3958260d9105a8ed65c7e8faaa8be7e1782508c0232f3c9","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-18-907","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-18-1001"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
