Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 19–1305","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a 1–day wine tasting (WT) license.\n(b) The Board may issue the license to a holder of a Class A wine (W) license, beer and wine (BW) license, or beer, wine, and liquor (BWL) license.\n(c) The license authorizes the holder to allow the consumption of wine for tasting if:\n(1) the license holder is authorized to sell the wine; and\n(2) the consumer is not charged for the wine.\n(d) The Board may not require the publication of an application for a WT license before issuing the license.\n(e) An individual may consume wine covered by the license in a quantity of not more than:\n(1) 1 ounce from each offering; and\n(2) 4 ounces from all offerings in a day.\n(f) The license fee is $25 per day.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=19-1305","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"b873973adfe25dd030c2fc4b234cea3face88912fe62b6dd8404c07e22aa3fdc","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-19-1304","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-19-1306"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
