Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 2–149","heading":"","body":"(a) A direct wine shipper may renew its direct wine shipper’s permit each year if the direct wine shipper:\n(1) is otherwise entitled to have a direct wine shipper’s permit;\n(2) provides to the Executive Director a copy of its current permit;\n(3) identifies the wines manufactured by the direct wine shipper that the direct wine shipper intends to ship into the State; and\n(4) pays to the Executive Director a renewal fee of $200.\n(b) The Executive Director may deny a renewal application of a direct wine shipper who fails to:\n(1) file a tax return required under this part;\n(2) pay a fee or tax when due; or\n(3) after receiving notice, comply with this article or a regulation that the Comptroller or Executive Director adopts.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=2-149","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"af3ea6063eb9d4e268559b19ce639b634b81c4ae99fe3c2f1d176222cc9fbad4","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-2-148.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-2-149.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
