Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 2–308","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a Class 7 limited beer wholesaler’s license.\n(b) The license may be issued only to a person that:\n(1) holds a Class 5 manufacturer’s license, a Class 7 micro–brewery license, or a Class 8 farm brewery license; and\n(2) produces in the aggregate from all of its locations not more than 45,000 barrels of beer annually.\n(c) The license authorizes the license holder to:\n(1) sell and deliver its own beer produced at the license holder’s premises to:\n(i) a holder of a retail license that is authorized to acquire beer from a wholesaler; and\n(ii) a holder of a permit that is authorized to acquire beer from a wholesaler; and\n(2) distribute not more than 5,000 barrels of its own beer annually.\n(d) The annual license fee is $50.\n(e) The license holder may use an additional location for the warehousing, sale, and delivery of beer:\n(1) if approved by the Executive Director following submission of a separate application for each location; and\n(2) on the payment of a $50 fee for each additional location.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=2-308","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"a2a2b611895e30953ed18e9255db6bc1954392ab44b637b5e9abdf0de79cfd36","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-2-307","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-2-308.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
