Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 2–308.1","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a Class 8 liquor wholesaler’s license.\n(b) The license may be issued only to a person that:\n(1) holds a:\n(i) Class 1 distillery license; or\n(ii) Class 9 limited distillery license; and\n(2) produces in the aggregate from all of its locations not more than 100,000 gallons of liquor annually.\n(c) The license authorizes the license holder to:\n(1) sell and deliver its own liquor produced at the license holder’s premises to:\n(i) a holder of a retail license that is authorized to acquire liquor from a wholesaler; and\n(ii) a holder of a permit that is authorized to acquire liquor from a wholesaler; and\n(2) distribute not more than 27,500 gallons of its own liquor annually.\n(d) The annual license fee is $100.\n(e) The license holder may use an additional location for the warehousing, sale, and delivery of liquor:\n(1) if approved by the Executive Director following submission of a separate application for each location; and\n(2) on the payment of a $100 fee for each additional location.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=2-308.1","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"1395f2f314c494a6b9dcad0c1ecd9e7c36c94d0626da4b39ecb782953f5a7dd0","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-2-308","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-2-309"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
