Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 20–1801","heading":"","body":"(a) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 4 (“Renewal of Local Licenses”) of Division I of this article apply in the county without exception or variation:\n(1) § 4–402 (“Eligibility for renewal; process”);\n(2) § 4–403 (“Renewal application”);\n(3) § 4–405 (“Contents of renewal application”);\n(4) § 4–406 (“Protests”);\n(5) § 4–407 (“Denial of renewal application”);\n(6) § 4–409 (“Multiple licenses”); and\n(7) § 4–410 (“Chain store, supermarket, or discount house”).\n(b) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 4 (“Renewal of Local Licenses”) of Division I of this article do not apply in the county:\n(1) § 4–404 (“Filing period for renewal application”), which is superseded by § 20–1803 of this subtitle; and\n(2) § 4–408 (“Issuance of renewed licenses”), which is superseded by § 20–1804 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=20-1801","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"9b33b7be3bc0ae1a2e079eb35cfad6af76925a480ae5bccf1628fbc765d3e876","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-20-1702","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-20-1802"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
