Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 20–2004","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) A holder of a Class A beer and wine license may sell beer and wine on Monday through Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(2) (i) The Board may grant a special Sunday opening permit to the license holder.\n(ii) The permit authorizes the holder to sell beer for off–premises consumption on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(iii) The annual permit fee is $140 in addition to the annual fee for the license.\n(iv) The permit is not considered a separate class of license and, if it is granted, the privilege shall be incorporated into the license.\n(b) A holder of a Class B beer and wine license may sell beer and wine on Monday through Sunday, for on– and off–premises consumption, from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.\n(c) A holder of a Class C beer and wine license may sell beer and wine on Monday through Sunday, for on–premises consumption, from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=20-2004","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"8f3ce70e3edeaa1d9dbd6d3639dbcfa6c6ed47601b2be62f99436a8ca14c3d21","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-20-2003","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-20-2005"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
