Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 20–2703","heading":"","body":"(a) A person engaged in the manufacture or sale of alcoholic beverages, an agent or employee of the person, and a license holder may not, directly or indirectly, offer or make a payment or gift to:\n(1) a member of the Board;\n(2) the chief alcoholic beverages inspector;\n(3) a full–time or part–time alcoholic beverages inspector; or\n(4) any other employee of the Board.\n(b) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000.","path":["Article - Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gab\u0026section=20-2703","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:03Z","sha256":"e5bf55aece8e1ffd188ff8a4554a5cab21770f2ddb7969c43e84c04461073dd5","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-20-2702","next":"us-md/md.-code-alcoholic-beverages-and-cannabis-20-2801"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
